Tong Gallery+Projects is honoured to announce that the solo exhibition of artist ZHENG Yi Dar Boda will be open from October 1st to October 31st, 2021, presenting sculptures, installations and paintings.Art starts from imitation. I always imitate what things should look like, instead of what they look like. The former one is more of a feeling most of the time. I try to use my imitate it with my artwork. Every time, I wish to imitate and express the feeling accurately, but at the same time, the misinterpretation of my imitation, deviation and inaccuracy create my own accuracy. It allows me to observe the existing logic with new logic. Dar Boda, a name made up by me, does not represent any place, anyone, or any metaphor. It’s an inaccurate and accurate name, just like my new works.
