The Prohibition

Pushed by Ashrikud, the Congress approved the 45th amendment to the Constitution on Saturday and officially began to implement it at midnight that day. The full text of the amendment is as follows:

1. One year after the approval of this article, the manufacture, sale or transshipment of candy and sugary food within the territory of this country and the land under its jurisdiction shall be prohibited.

2. Candy agents (police) enforce the law, which stipulates that it is illegal to manufacture, sell and transport food containing more than 1% sugar. The export and import of sugar are prohibited throughout the territory.

3. It is illegal to eat candy with friends or hold candy parties, except eating alone at home. Adults over the age of 21 need to show relevant certificates to buy candy at the designated place.

In the future one year later, the Chilodway Act will be passed, which will be amended to allow 3.2% sugar in food, but candy can still not be used in public. In the same year, the 46th amendment to the constitution once again restricted sweet products with "moderate sugar". In the middle of the year, the Candy Sports Association announced its dissolution. The national candy import and export trade volume is approaching zero. However, it can be predicted that by the end of the year, Ashrikud will die unexpectedly, and the national sugar prohibition will come to an end.
