I conducted a long-term field research on the truck industry in Sichuan, where the Beidou satellite "home port" is located, and then created a set of three-screen images that combine real materials and virtual reality. The screen materials on both sides are the black-and-white "monitoring" of the driver driving process of the Beidou user segment and the driving conditions in front of the Beidou road section, and the middle screen is the ever-changing virtual VR scene outside the unmanned ware-house, which is led by Beidou navigation, constantly going back and forth to the inland multi-storey interchange, factory building, urban and rural suburbs, and the endless closed loop of smoke, rain and fog. Among them, the main narrative of the film is a dialogue between a Sichuan driver and a control center programmer, a fantastic whisper, a question and answer, mixed with the illusion re-fracted by the satellite in outer space: golden rice, afternoon nostalgia, eyes in the night, broken walls in the countryside, those traditional, labored bodies are stripping the cockpit, and the low-track is full of weightless flying beasts spreading huge solar wings... Who quietly sketched for us a solid cocoon of the earth?
